My Vision Quest experience, under the wise, capable and compassionate direction of Gary Grimes, proved to be the most important and empowering event I have yet encountered to facilitate positive change in my life. All of the elements were there — beautiful land, kindred spirits, sacred space/ritual and time alone in the natural world — and all served to awaken long-forgotten wisdom and joy. Gary and his team support participants intellectually, physically, emotionally and spiritually. There is a high level of trust and safety, which I felt very comfortable with, whether as a single woman or a hesitant first-time participant.

It is impossible to describe what can happen when one allows oneself to ground in the healing silence of the earth. Gary helped me look at buried life issues I needed to address. He asked me questions and gave me tools to work with these issues in a healthy way. Time alone, and in group, offered the perfect balance to come home to myself. I am grateful for the transformational shift which occurred as a result of my Vision Quest experiences and I recommend this Vision Quest to everyone, and I do mean everyone! It’s fun, it’s challenging, it’s healthy. This is an experience you just can’t get in your daily life. This ancient tradition works — it’s a gift to self which offers lifetime rewards.
